Q. What makes it so good?
A. Autodip is a vinyl-based premium peelable synthetic paint developed specifically for automotive application. It allows you to customize and protect wheels, accessories and full bodies in a wide variety of colors and finishes. Autodip’s peelability, affordability, premium finish and Do-It-Yourself installation makes it the clear alternative to traditional powder coating, paint and vinyl wraps.

Q. How durable is Autodip?
A: When properly applied, Autodip will keep its finish for up to two years. Durability increases with each additional coat. It is critical that you apply the recommended 8-10 coats.

Q: Is it easy to clean?
A: Autodip’s smooth finish makes it easy to clean and maintain. Always use Autodip’s approved maintenance products to take care of your Autodip finish.

Q: How does it peel?
A: Rub a corner until it begins to lift, then start peeling. Autodip will peel in large pieces. No solvent is required.

Q: What surfaces can Autodip be applied to?
A: Autodip’s formula is designed specifically for the automotive industry and is tested on clear coated surfaces used by OEM car manufacturers including clear coated body panels, alloy wheels, chromed plastics, clear coated carbon fibre and metal surfaces such as wheels.

For surfaces that are not officially tested by Autodip, we recommend that you test spray, let dry and peel on an inconspicuous area to confirm surface compatibility.
If you are unsure whether your surface is clear coated, we recommend you contact your local dealership to confirm.

Do not apply Autodip on non-clear coated surfaces such as vinyl wraps, stickers, primer paint, raw plastics, raw badges and center caps.

Q: What is the difference between sprayable Plasti/Rubber coatings and Autodip?
A: Autodip is the next generation peelable paint. Autodip’s vinyl based proprietary formula enables Autodip to offer high gloss and metallic finishes straight out of the can, easy to clean and peel, and most of all, unrivaled smoothness by any last generation rubber based products out of a can.
