$900.00VW’s DSG gearboxes use an advanced system of twin clutches to enable the vehicle to have lightning quick shifts while maintaining the efficiency and economy of a manual gearbox. We have been able to master the software which dictates how the gearbox behaves during shifting to enable an overall sharper and more enjoyable driving experience. There are several areas of improvement:
- Quicker and sharper shifts for enhanced driving experience.
- Improved shift points to cater to higher torque and power delivery of our ECU calibrations.
- Lowered launch control RPM point to reduce wheel spin during hard launches.
- More aggressive downshifts for a sportier feel.
